Christmas Review

Raced four, won four. Balmoral have been in imperious form and have opened up a gigantic 37 point lead. 2019 looks like it will see Balmoral crowned champions of Sydney North.

Key Race = Club Champs (March 16th)

Double points are on the line in Orange, Balmoral won’t want all there hard work to be undone by one event.

MVP = Gerald Renton (6 PTS)

Club Name: Warringah Triathlon Club

Series Name: Waves

Leaderboard position: 2nd

Season Performances

Round 1 – Sydney Olympic Park Duathlon = 2nd

Round 2 – Nepean Triathlon = 2nd

Round 3 – Kurnell #1 = 3rd

Race 4 – Hills Garmin Series = 2nd

Christmas Review

Warringah have fallen a fair way behind Balmoral but are still having a good season, just not quite as good as Balmoral are. The title looks out of reach and the Waves are firmly in a battle for runner up with NSTC it would seem.

Key Race = Big Husky (February 24th)

The Waves will want an event victory early in 2019. Big Husky and long course could very well be the one.

MVP = Graeme Beattie (3 PTS)

Club Name: Northern Suburbs Triathlon Club

Series Name: Mighty Mites

Leaderboard position: 3rd

Season Performances

Round 1 – Sydney Olympic Park Duathlon = 3rd

Round 2 – Nepean Triathlon = 3rd

Round 3 – Kurnell #1 = 2nd

Race 4 – Hills Garmin Series = 2nd

Christmas Review

Currently in third but in touching distance of Warringah in second. The smallest club in the region have done well so far and will have big ideas of upsetting the Waves in the second half of the season.

Key Race = Club Champs (March 16th)

The yellow, black and red of NSTC is regular sight at Club Champs. If it is again this year, a second place finish overall will be on the cards.

MVP Race = Dereck Daymond, Gavin McGregor (1.5 PTS)
