Christmas Review
2018 was a great year for the Seahorses. An outright victory in Round 1 and a shared victory in Round 3 have seen them open up an 8 point gap at the top of the leaderboard. It’s far from over, but Ballina will be delighted to head into 2019 with a target on their back.
Key Race = Tweed Enduro (February 16th)
Just six days after the Trial Bay Triathlon, Ballina will be hoping that a great showing over long course can take them closer to the first North Coast title.
MVP Race = Kim Churchill (3 PTS)

Just 8 points behind the Seahorses, Clarence Valley are in with a great chance of being crowned champions of the North Coast at the end of the season. Will need to perform well when the events head south if they are to do so.
Key Race = Byron Bay Triathlon (May 11th)
The title could come down to the last event of the year. If it does, the Stingrays could win it with a great showing at Byron.
MVP Race = Darren Adams (5.5 PTS)

Not many people saw this coming. The newbies, the Hammerheads have been sensational. Back to back 2nd places to start set the season up well. Just 8.5 points behind the leaders at the Christmas break.
Key Race = Trial Bay Triathlon (February 10th)
The first event of the year is on their doorstep. Hat Head could very well be on top of the leaderboard as the clubs head to the Tweed Enduro.
MVP Race = Paulene Kirby, Rebecca Kings (3.5 PTS)

Another new club that has performed incredibly well. The Breakers are just 13 points behind the leaders and are coming off a victory at the Kingscliff Triathlon.
Key Race = Byron Bay Triathlon (May 11th)
Byron could be going for the title on their home soil come May.
MVP Race = Alan Rowe, Paivi Hanninen (3.5 PTS)
Club Name: Coffs Harbour Triathlon Club
Series Name: Rockets
Leaderboard position: 5th
Season Performances
Round 1 – Ballina Triathlon = 3rd
Round 2 – Yamba Triathlon = 6th
Round 3 – Kingscliff Triathlon= 2nd
Christmas Review
Beware the Rockets come 2019. Just 16 points behind the leaders as the calendar heads South. Coffs have been good so far, they could be great in 2019 and are in with a great shout of being the inaugural North Coast champions.
Key Race = bcu Coffs (March 3rd)
The penultimate event of the year is in their hometown. A maximum point return here should set up a blockbuster finale in Byron.
MVP Race = Matt Moffatt (3 PTS)

Season Performances
Round 1 – Ballina Triathlon = 5th
Round 2 – Yamba Triathlon = 3rd
Round 3 – Kingscliff Triathlon= 5th
Christmas Review
A tricky start to the season for Port but a bright 2019 on the horizon. Put in a terrific display in Yamba to finish 3rd on the day and have events closer to home to come.
Key Race = Trial Bay Triathlon (February 10th)
Should start the season well at Trial Bay and could bring themselves back into contention for a high season finish.
MVP Race = Harry Jones, Margaret Lawn, John Tracy (2 PTS)
