Tweed Enduro set to shake up the North Coast
With the unfortunate cancellation of the Trial Bay Triathlon due to weather, Round 4 of the North Coast Interclub Series at Tweed Enduro could very well be a season defining one.
The Byron Breakers enter the event with a two point lead over the Clarence Valley Stingrays and will have high hopes of maintaining this lead before the North Coast Interclub heads to their hometown event, the Byron Triathlon on May 9th. Clubs will need to make inroads at the Tweed Enduro otherwise it might be too little too late to stop the Breakers by the time we get to Forster in late May and Club Champs.
Reigning Champions, the Coffs Harbour Rockets are well placed in third with the Hat Head Hammerheads just behind them in fourth. Both were hoping to jump into title contention at Trial Bay, but will have to make their intentions known now at Tweed Enduro instead.
For the Ballina Seahorses, Tweed Valley Volcanoes and the Port Macquarie Pelicans , the Tweed Enduro is a pivotal point in their seasons if they have aspirations of a high overall finish.
