NSW Interclub Leagues Ignite at Club Champs 2026
Forster once again lived up to its reputation as one of the most iconic and demanding venues on the NSW triathlon calendar as hundreds of athletes arrived for the NSW Triathlon Club Championships 2026. With hot, humid conditions, a hilly bike course, and the unmistakable buzz of club‑against‑club rivalry, the Interclub Leagues delivered one of their most dramatic rounds of the season.
Seven leagues were in action — Hunter, North Coast, South Coast, Hume, Sydney Premier League, Sydney League 1, and New England — all chasing valuable double points at the biggest race of the year.

The Yass Valley Galahs (302 points) extended their already strong lead thanks to a crucial 56‑point Club Champs performance. The Goulburn Rambos (143 points) remain in second, with the Wagga Dancing Crows (33 points) steady in third. The Galahs now sit in the box seat heading into the back half of the season.

For New England, Club Champs served as both the decider and the celebration.
The Tamworth Tigers (520 points) stormed home with a massive 168 points, sealing the 2025–26 Interclub Championship title. Their consistency across all four rounds made them unbeatable.
The Scone Stormers (359 points) locked in second after a huge 158‑point return, while Armidale (175 points) and Gunnedah (94 points) completed the league standings.

Maitland Magic (534 points) remain second overall but face increasing pressure from the clubs charging behind them. The battle for positions two to four is now incredibly tight.
