Final Splash at Wollongong: Jervis Bay take the South Coast Crown
The final round of the South Coast Interclub League delivered a thrilling conclusion at the Wollongong Triathlon Festival, held last weekend and proudly hosted by Elite Energy.
Across a high‑energy day of racing, the Jervis Bay Dolphins Triathlon Club rose to the challenge, securing the overall 2025/26 season South Coast Interclub League title.
Final Ladder
- Jervis Bay Dolphins – 578 points
- Illawarra Cannons – 495 points
- Kiama Coasters – 427 points
- Eurocoast Nomads – 317 points
Heading into the final race, the top of the ladder was tight, and the final round proved decisive.
- Jervis Bay Dolphins entered the final round holding a narrow lead and cemented top spot with a strong Round 5 performance (97 points). Their consistency across all five rounds proved the difference, particularly their dominant middle rounds.
- Illawarra Cannons were the standout movers in the final round, posting the highest maximum point Round 5 score of 150 points. This surge locked in second place overall and underlined the club’s depth and late‑season momentum.
- Kiama Coasters also finished strongly with 125 points in the final round, narrowing the gap on Illawarra.
