Central West Interclub League Shines on Australia Day – Round 2 Wrap

The Central West Interclub League delivered another spectacular chapter in the 2026 season as clubs from across the region converged for the annual Aussie Day round. With warm weather, buzzing crowds, and a high‑energy race atmosphere, the event embodied everything great about triathlon in the Central West.
The racing was fast, competitive, and full of passion as athletes pushed through the run, swim, ride, swim, run legs with determination. Families, supporters, and club contingents created an exciting environment that lifted the performance of everyone on course.
A huge thank you goes to Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Club, who hosted a superbly organised Australia Day event. Their attention to detail, commitment to athlete experience, and welcoming race environment were outstanding. An extra round of applause is owed to the volunteers, who gave up their holiday morning to ensure smooth registrations, safe course management, and enthusiastic support across the venue. Their collective effort set the tone for one of the most enjoyable rounds of the season.
