The “Experts” predict – Forager Sydney Triathlon League 1

This season, Triathlon NSW staff will be providing their “expert” opinions on how the Triathlon NSW Forager Interclub Leagues will unfold.

The three “experts” are CEO, Adam Wicks (AW). Operations Manager, Chris Cunningham (CC) and Marketing Manager, Alana Leabeater (CL).

All three will be predicting how the league table will finish come the end of the season and which club will win each round. They will predict for each of the eight Triathlon Leagues.

A correct pick is worth one point. Whoever gets the most points over the season will be the winner.

Office bragging rights are on the line!!!

Chris famously predicted that Jervis Bay Dolphins would finish last in their league last season…they went on to win it! So take our predictions for what they are…educated guesses that will more than likely be proven wrong.

Feel free to play along at home.

Forager Sydney Triathlon League 1 predictions

CC – Coogee, Pulse, Brats, Australian Chinese, Eastern Suburbs, Engadine, Brighton Baths

“Coogee will go up a level this season and will win by a comfortable margin. Pulse will get the second promotion spot, just holding of Brats. It will be very tight in the battle for relegation survival, but Engadine and Brighton Baths will fall just short and drop down for next season”

AL – Coogee, Brats, Pulse, Brighton Baths, Engadine, Australian Chinese, Eastern Suburbs

“I don’t think anyone will stop Coogee and Brats will also gain promotion. Pulse will surprise everyone. The Australian Chinese and Eastern Suburbs will be relegated”

AW – Eastern Suburbs, Pulse, Brats, Brighton Baths, Engadine, Australian Chinese, Coogee

“Eastern Suburbs and Pulse to both get back to back promotions!!! Australian Chinese to continue in the same form as last season with Coogee to drop back also”

TNSW CONSENSUS LADDER PREDICTION

1st = Rozelle Pulse

2nd = Bondi Brats

3rd = Coogee Comets

4th = Eastern Suburbs Swans

5th = Brighton Baths Polar Bears

6th = Australian Chinese Dragons

7th = Engadine Dingoes

Rozelle Pulse to come out on top and add a Sydney Triathlon League 1 title to their Sydney Triathlon League 2 title from last season. The Bondi Brats to also return to being a Premier Sydney Triathlon Club. The Coogee Comets to just miss out although two of the three “experts” have them to finish on top. The Swans to consolidate their position in League 1 with the Polar Bears just edging out both the Dragons and the Dingoes who drop back to League 2 for ICL04.
