Club History
Since its establishment in 1996, Armidale Triathlon Club has become one of regional NSW’s most enduring and respected triathlon clubs. The Armidillos have built a strong reputation for community participation, hosting local race series and developing athletes in the unique high-country environment of the New England Tablelands. The club’s history is closely linked to the growth of triathlon across the region, with longstanding involvement in interclub competition and a strong record of success, including winning the inaugural New England Interclub Series. Nearly three decades on, the club remains proudly volunteer-driven, bringing together athletes of all ages who share a passion for swimming, cycling and running.
