Hume Interclub League Set to start their Battle in the Capital at Challenge Canberra
Our final Interclub League Round to shout about this weekend is Hume, who are kicking off in serious style at one of the biggest events on the calendar: Challenge Canberra.
With five clubs in the Interclub League ready to battle it out, Round one promises to be a high-stakes, high-energy showdown in the heart of the nation’s capital. Here’s who is repping in the region:
- Goulburn Rambos
- Highlands Shaggy Cows
- Leeton Bidgee Cockatoos
- Wagga Dancing Cows
- Yass Valley Galahs
This event is always a blockbuster, and with all race distances offering valuable points, expect the leaderboard to light up early and potentially set the tone for the entire season.
Canberra delivers a race experience like no other – with a lake swim, a smooth and fast bike course, plus a scenic run along the lakeside and through the parklands. It’s also a course built for bringing the energy from spectators with its course design. With so many great vantage points, we’re expecting the sidelines to be loud and proud.
💥 Big points are on the line.
🔥 Rivalries will reignite.
🏆 Who will take the Capital round and early control of the Hume League?
