Big Husky Boosts the Title Race as Sydney League 1 Nears the Finish Line

Sydney League 1 headed south for Round 6 of the Interclub League, taking on the iconic Big Husky course at the Huskisson Triathlon Festival, expertly hosted by Elite Energy.

While challenging ocean conditions saw the swim leg cancelled, it did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the league’s clubs. Athletes travelled in strong numbers, determined to capitalise on one of the final scoring opportunities of the season. The result was a high‑energy, high‑scoring round that had a significant impact on the Sydney League 1 ladder.

Hills Red Army once again set the standard, collecting a massive 150 points to strengthen their position at the top of the league. Bondi Brats (106 points) and Coogee Comets (97 points) both delivered strong performances, continuing their late‑season momentum. Panthers, while still firmly entrenched in the top two, will feel the pressure after a smaller Round 6 return, as the chasing pack closes in.

Elsewhere, clubs such as Moore Performance Bats, Hunters Hill Hustlers, and TriMob made the most of the format, banking valuable points to consolidate their ladder positions heading into the final round.
